A new version arrives every few months. We put it on a copy first, and on your setup only once everything works.
Backups that come back
Every night an encrypted backup goes to a second location in the EU. We restore one regularly to check that it works.
An installation that is current
If a Nextcloud already runs on a server or NAS that nobody updates, we take it over and bring it up to date step by step.
We take care of the security
Phishing, ransomware, a laptop left on the train. Whether something like that stops your office depends on what was set up beforehand. This is in every workplace we manage.
When a client asks how you are secured, you get a short description per part to send along.

Everyone signs in with a password and a code on their phone. A leaked password on its own opens nothing.

How much storage do we get?
We estimate it in the scan from what you use now. If it grows fast, you hear it from us before it is full.
Can we keep our own server?
Yes, as long as we can reach it remotely and back it up to a second place. Then we manage it where it is.
Is Collabora Online included?
Yes. You edit documents in the browser, with several people at once, and the files stay .docx, .xlsx and .pptx.
What if we want to leave later?
You get a full export, or you give another provider access. Nextcloud is open source, so nothing has to move.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign it before we get access to your data, and you can request the model in advance.
Who does the work?
Vite Fait is a small company from Rotterdam. You have one point of contact, and that is also the person who sets up and runs your Nextcloud.
