In a data centre in the EU, with a hosting company named in the data processing agreement. Not a tenant in a region Microsoft picks.
European law only
Microsoft must hand over data when an American court orders it, even from Dublin or Amsterdam. A European hosting company is outside that reach.
No more licences to track
Microsoft decides what each licence allows and what it costs. Here you pay a fixed amount a month, and the software is open source, so you can always move.
We take care of the security
Phishing, ransomware, a laptop left on the train. Whether something like that stops your office depends on what was set up beforehand. This is in every workplace we manage.
When a client asks how you are secured, you get a short description per part to send along.

How the move works
Free scan
We look at your mailboxes, SharePoint sites and Teams channels and what is in them. You get a report with a fixed price.
Trial week
Two or three colleagues work in the new setup for a week, with their own mail and folders. What they notice, we fix first.
The move
Mailboxes, calendars and libraries move over a weekend. Microsoft keeps running until all is checked, and after that we can help at your office.
Management
Updates, backups and help on working days. You call the same person who set it all up.

One fixed amount a month for the whole office. You pay for the move once, and the scan before it is free.

Doesn't Microsoft already keep our data in Europe?
It can, but Microsoft is still an American company. The CLOUD Act looks at who controls the data. Microsoft has to hand over data stored in Dublin too, when an American court orders it.
Do shared mailboxes and calendars come along?
Yes. A shared mailbox becomes a shared account or a shared folder. Shared calendars keep their permissions, and planned meetings stay in place.
Do we have to stop using Word and Excel?
No. Collabora opens .docx and .xlsx in the browser. Anyone who prefers Word keeps it on the laptop; that does need a separate Office licence.
What happens to our Microsoft subscription?
You cancel it yourself, once the move has been checked. Until then everything stays at Microsoft, so nothing gets lost.
Does our email address stay the same?
Yes. Your domain comes along, and we switch the DNS records at the moment the mail moves.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign it before anything moves, and you can request the model in advance.
